Come What May
It was one fine day in a small cafe
We were sitting together side by side
Although the life seemed to move pretty fast
Yet moments for us were as slow as one by a river side.
Looking at the streets you were recalling things
That vanished like a smoke as time went by
Listening to you I tried to figure out
How does really time always find an alibi.
You talked about the most romantic moments of your life
With the one you loved more than just too much
I could see the unfallen tears in your eyes
And wished GOD gave no one moments of pain as such.
You were looking constantly into the streets
Remembering him come your way and gone
Missing every moment of his very presence
Feeling lonely as if there was no way to move on.
I saw you were strong enough to hold your tears
But maybe I was not so I just let them go
Wish I could tell your tears if they were too frozen
Just make your way out and fall like a snow.
Wish I could tell you some things are best forgotten in life
Yet there are beautiful memories that remain
But I just could not tell you all those words
'Cause I am just like you, in intense love and pain.
But as they say that the eyes speak a lot
I saw in your eyes the love for him more than you could ever say
Wished you looked into mine too and see how much I love you
And then I'll tell you come with me and I shall leave you never, Come what May
